Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how FinTrack Pro ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal and financial information when you use our mobile application and web platform.

Account Information:

• Account creation date and subscription status

Financial Data You Provide:

• Income and expense entries and categories
• Asset information (stocks, real estate, crypto, retirement accounts, etc.)

• Advertising identifier (such as Apple's IDFA) and ad-interaction data, when ads are enabled

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using a secure, industry-standard cloud database with the following protections:

• Encryption for all data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
• Secure authentication with industry-standard password hashing
• Row-level security ensuring you can only access your own data
• Real-time sync with encrypted data channels across all your devices
• Regular security audits and infrastructure monitoring

We follow industry best practices to protect your information, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We continuously improve our security measures to protect your data.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal or financial data to third parties. We only share information in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Trusted partners who help operate our platform under strict data protection agreements, including Supabase (secure cloud hosting and database), Google Firebase (analytics and crash reporting), Google AdMob (advertising), and payment processors (Paddle on the web; the Apple App Store and Google Play for in-app purchases)
• Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights
• With your consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share your information
• Anonymized data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot identify you personally

5. Your Rights

You have full control over your data. You can:

• Access: View and download all your personal and financial data at any time
• Export: Export your data in CSV or PDF format
• Correct: Update or modify any information in your account
• Delete: Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data via our Account Deletion page
• Portability: Transfer your data to another service
• Opt out: Unsubscribe from non-essential communications
• Restrict: Limit how we process your data

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will remove all your personal and financial data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

FinTrack Pro uses the following tracking technologies and third-party SDKs:

• Essential cookies: Required for authentication and app functionality
• Analytics & diagnostics: We use Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) to understand feature usage and diagnose crashes so we can improve the app. This may include device identifiers, usage events, and crash and performance data. You can disable analytics collection in the app's settings.
• Advertising: Free plans may display ads served by Google AdMob. To show ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (such as Apple's IDFA), coarse location, and ad-interaction data, and may use this information for personalized advertising.
• App Tracking Transparency (iOS): On iOS we ask your permission before using your advertising identifier for tracking. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Opt out: You can limit ad personalization in your device settings, and upgrade to a paid plan to remove ads.

8. Children's Privacy

FinTrack Pro is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of FinTrack Pro after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
